My custom chip
I use a combination of tools to do my custom chips.
I have a Burn1 from www.moates.net
Use TunerPro to make most changes
I started with a Stage 2 chip from www.dsmchips.com
, and have since modified the code to do what I want.
For logging I use MMCD.
In my own chip have these feature/modifications:
Injector Size Compensation
Dead time compensation
Raised idle speed
Enhanced closed loop
Removed fuel cut
Octane reset on start
Extended Load to 4.12 Grams/ Rev
Extended Rpm to 8500 RPM
4 Selectable on the fly Maps
Modified timing and fuel maps
Injector pulsewidth cap removed
3 stage rev limiter
Shift light via EGR solenoid output
Nitrous control via FPR solenoid output
Knock gauge instead of stock boost gauge
Native 5v Wideband Support
Phantom knock elimination
Knock decrement rate increased
I use the Innovative LM-1 inplace of the stock O2 signal. The ecu runs directly of
the 5v wideband signal.
I tune for about 11.0:1 A/F on pump gas and 12:1 on race gas, and 12:1 with nitrous.
